Does My School Qualify for a Free Website?

School Wishes is designed to help schools rally community support for their classrooms.  Rather than providing a national website where donors must drill down to find teachers in your school, each school receives their own School Wishes website with integrated donor management tools.

To qualify for a free School Wishes website:

• Your school must be a K-12 public or private school;
• Your school must reside in the United States;
• Principal approval is required – we will contact your principal to verify;
• Your Principal must designate a School Champion (What is a School Champion?);
• Individual teachers will NOT qualify for a School Wishes website

How many teachers can use your School Wishes website?

We do not set limits on the number of people from your school that can use School Wishes.  We encourage teachers, teacher-aides, principals, library staff, after-school and family resource coordinators, and anyone else within your school to post wishes on your School Wishes website.

How can School Wishes be free?

School Wishes was originally offered to K-12 schools under a subscription-based model ($40 - $80/month per school). Unfortunately, under this model the schools that needed School Wishes most were unable to pay for it.  In order to offer School Wishes for free to all K-12 public and private schools throughout the United States, we have switched to a sponsorship/advertising-based model to cover our operating costs.  Education appropriate advertisements will be displayed on your School Wishes website (we will not display intrusive forms of advertising like spyware or pop-ups, only conventional banner ads).
